Milestones and First Birthdays
I specialize in timeless and classic portraits with the focus on baby, and not a ton of props, themes or cutouts in the background. If you are looking for an elegant, simple touch to your baby's portraits, then you've come to the right place!
Milestone mini sessions are for babies 3-9 months of age, they do not have to be sitting just yet. Cake smash sessions celebrate that first year by allowing baby to get messy with their first birthday cake!
Reach out 1-2 months in advance to schedule your session, especially if you are needing images back by a certain date. Rush options are available.

How it Works

STEP 1: Let’s Book!
Reach out 1-2 months in advance to schedule! Reach out with any questions. You’ll get to view the client closet and background options during booking. A $50 deposit is required to book any milestone or cake smash session. Rush options are available.

STEP 2: Session Day
You’ll arrive at my studio where all wardrobe, backgrounds and props will be ready for you. I try to make sure baby warms up to me first before starting. At this time, you’ll also have a chance to see and feel product samples for ordering.

STEP 3: Gallery Reveal & Ordering
Online proofing galleries are ready approximately 1 week after your session. Here you’ll be able to select your favorites and place your order. You can also add on additional images or products if you’d like.

STEP 4: Final Delivery
About 2-3 weeks after your selections are received, your final images are emailed to you. Any products ordered are checked for quality control and then we arrange for pickup or delivery. Trust me - you WON’T regret investing in beautiful and custom heirloom products!

After your session, you’ll receive your proofing gallery one week later. You will then make your selections, and once your order is placed, it takes 2-3 weeks to receive final images. Please keep this in mind when booking. Rush options are also available.

I do offer a cake smash package with family portrait included. This adds an additional background for your session. Family photos are usually done at the beginning of the session.
You may also add on the family portraits in the milestone package.

Yes! I have several outfits for both boys and girls in sizes from newborn to 2T. If you have something special of your own, you’re welcome to bring it as well. At booking, you’ll see options for the client closet and make your selections on the booking questionnaire.

It’s best to reach out 1-2 months beforehand to ensure availability. Turnaround time is 1 wk for proofing gallery + 2-3 weeks after receiving selections. Please account for this when booking, especially if needing images back by a certain date. Rush options are also available.

Yes! For cake smash sessions, a simple white 5” cake is included. Please make sure to expose baby to cake at least 1 week in advance to check for allergies and to play with texture. If your baby is allergic, I do have a fake prop cake that can be used. If you would prefer to bring you own custom-designed cake, you are free to do so as well.

Cake smash sessions do include a custom balloon garland in the colors of your choice. Other options are also available on the booking questionnaire.

Milestone sessions are $350 and cake smash sessions are $450-$500. You may purchase additional images and/or products in your proofing gallery.

My studio is only open Monday-Fridays. Please schedule your session any time between 9am-2pm. (Preferably not around baby’s nap time). As a busy mom of two, a wife, and a business owner, my weekends are for my family. For this reason, please reach out 1-2 months in advance if you would prefer a Friday afternoon.

How fun! Pricing is the same for multiples. You have the option of having them smash into one cake, or add an additional 2nd cake so each baby gets their own cake! Both twins have full access to the client closet.

It’s very important to prep baby beforehand. I cannot guarantee smiles, though I try my hardest. Practice smiling, sitting, tasting cake, getting messy, etc. I have lots of patience for toddlers, but sometimes they just aren’t having it! Sometimes we use bubbles, put on Ms. Rachel, or act super silly! But hey, crying photos are cute and memorable too!
